How is the effect of online teaching?How to improve the effectiveness of online teaching?Combined with some of my own work experience, I have the following thoughts.

First, the advantages of online teaching

I.Online teaching breaks through regional restrictions.

As long as teachers and students use a computer and a mobile phone to carry out teaching activities, the problem of not being able to travel or gather together due to epidemic prevention and control has been solved. Teachers and students can complete teaching tasks at home.

II.Enrich the students’ learning style.

Now network resource is very rich, there are many platforms are available. Many platforms are in a live recording way, playback have course, if you are unable to participate in a live time learning, students can through video recording autonomous learning, make students learn knowledge more extensive.Especially for some students to strict self-discipline, through online autonomous learning, the effect will be better.

III.Enriches the teaching methods of teachers and promotes their “re-learning”.

In the 21st century, information technology is a required course for every teacher. The teacher’s information technology literacy directly affects students.In addition to having good subject knowledge and teaching skills, an excellent teacher must have information technology means.The network teaching carried out during this period is also an examination and improvement to teachers, which encourages teachers to have the courage to take the initiative to learn from and learn together. Both Blackboard and Zoom require teachers to be proficient.

At the same time, in the process of exploration, teachers can obtain some high-quality educational resources through the Internet, such as short videos, teaching courseware, exercise bank, etc., which enriches the teaching resources and plays a good role in promoting the improvement of teaching level.

Several problems existing in online teaching”

The Internet is a double-edged sword” The Internet has a large amount of information and resources, so there are indeed many things we can learn from.However, the things on the network are sometimes uneven and disorderly. If there is no reasonable choice and effective control, the teaching effect will be greatly reduced.In my opinion, the current online teaching has the following misunderstandings.

I.The role of teachers has become a simple “network anchor”.

Because teachers are mostly first-time online teaching, for the platform using the ropes around here, teacher’s role becomes pure “anchor”, most of the time is teacher speaking, students are listening to, lack of teachers and students interaction during online class,thus students look for a long time will produce tired psychology, the teaching effect is greatly reduced.

II.Lack of effective control over students.

As there is no on-site teaching, the teacher can not restrain the students, if the students’ self-restraint ability is poor, the attention is not focused when listening to the class, there are gaming online,listening to music, reading novels, sending messages, or even the phenomenon of leaving the class midway,.As students cannot be stopped in time, the teaching effect is doomed to be very poor.

III.Insufficient learning atmosphere in online teaching classroom.

Online teaching can’t make a circuit in the classroom, teachers cannot directly face student’s study condition, can’t conduct on-site q&a or group discussion between teachers and students ,interaction and the exchange is far from the scene teaching effect is good.The class seems like a cold fish, not that kind of lively learning atmosphere compared to the classroom.

IV.The teaching effect can not be effectively guaranteed.

In the process of online teaching, students lack of on-site guidance from teachers, and teachers can’t timely find out the problems of students and give guidance in time, which makes students easy to detour.At the same time, the after-class feedback effect is poor. Teachers assign online homework and require students to submit it in time, but students’ homework is easy to be perfunctory, plagiarize and complete the task with the help of question searching software. Such after-class feedback is ineffective, which also make teachers unable find problems timely and make adjustments through student homework.

V.Has great influence on students’ vision.

The use of computers, mobile phones and other devices in online teaching poses a threat to students’ visual health.Especially for middle and senior students, all subjects are taught online, which means that students have to spend at least six hours a day in front of computers or mobile phones, which can have a significant negative impact on their eyesight and even their health.

3. How to improve the effectiveness of online teaching

I. First of all, to strengthen the ideological education of students.

Students study at home, school ideological education can not keep up with the pace, the supervision of students is almost handed over to the parents, due to the absence of family education at the present stage, the students’ rebellious psychology is serious, there is a serious resistance to the education of parents, so the ideological education of the class is particularly important.The school can take the class as the unit, and the head teacher can organize the students to summarize the online learning of this week. At the same time, combining the subject humanistic theme, the school can strengthen the moral education of students in time, and implement the goal of cultivating people by virtue.

II.Teachers should reasonably integrate resources and do a good job in teaching design.
